Take A Look, It’s In A Book: 30 Years of Reading Rainbow

Having grown up watching PBS, it seems almost parade-worthy to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Reading Rainbow this month. And while the show is no longer on, I love that they’ve created a site and an app that bridges the show I loved as a little girl with the reality that more kids spend time behind screens than learning the Dewey Decimal system.

FACT: I still love the Dewey Decimal system.

This video isn’t new, but it always makes me smile. I’m sure LeVar Burton would approve.
